- Burge Family/ Missionaries to the Dominican Republic - Our missionaries to the Dominican Republic, the Burges, are building an orphanage in the Dominican Republic called Restoration Ranch. You can see the report that WIS did on the Burge family by clicking here. You can also go to our Vimeo page by clicking here and seeing a tour from the Burges of Restoration Ranch and hearing how the orphanage will work. The Burges live off of donations made to them and their ministry, so anything that you are able to do is greatly appreciated!
- Pathway - PathWay has been established at Bethel Worship Center as a community mission outreach program serving at-risk children and their families in Kershaw County. PathWay was founded on and established to be instrumental in providing the PathWay to success through the application of Biblical character, additional educational opportunities, and skills needed to overcome social and economic adversities.
PathWay serves children Pre-K through 8th grade on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:30, helping them to complete all of their homework and project assignments correctly and timely. PathWay also has an instructor fluent in Spanish helping with Hispanic children and their families. PathWay additionally serves the children during the summer months with fun filled educational opportunities.
PathWay would love to have you as part of this growing ministry. There are so many ways in which you can serve or you can donate toward the needs of the ministry. For additional information contact the Church Office.
- Sacks of Love - BWC has adopted Jackson Elementary to participate with in the Sacks of Love program. Every week we pack 48 sacks for kids from Jackson so that these kids do not go a weekend without being fed. Your donations to this ministry will help us continue to fill these bags throughout the school year. Just earmark your giving to "Sacks of Love". Thank you for your support.
- Food For The Soul - This organization is doing what it can to end hunger in Kershaw County. Your donations of time and money are greatly appreciated. You can find out more about Food for the Soul by visiting their website.
- Habitat for Humanity - Habitat for Humanity works to build decent, affordable housing and help families get back on their feet. For more information about our local chapter you can visit their website.
- United Way of Kershaw County - United Way does a lot to help those in need within our County. Several specific ministries of United Way that we have partnered with are:
