What to Expect

Bethel Worship Center is for anyone and everyone. It does not matter your background, your race, your nationality, your socio-economic status, anything. We are all imperfect people following a perfect God. We invite you to come experience a service with us. We hope that this information will help you understand a little bit about us before you come, but to truly know what we’re about, you’ll have to experience it! Our service time for Sunday morning is 10:30am.

Our services are designed to equip and inspire you to live life the way our Heavenly Father designed it to be lived. They are comprised of two primary elements: worship and word.

Our worship is led by our worship pastor, Pastor Brian, along with a talented group of individuals who use the gifts God has given them to participate in our worship experience. Our worship includes singing and playing instruments. We don’t believe that singing praise and worship songs in and of itself is worship. However we do believe we are taught in scripture that we are to do this and that it is a powerful means of expressing our love to Christ and responding to him as our Lord and Savior.

We desire to rightly divide the truth of God’s word in a way that is relevant for your life. We want to help you take the word of God and apply it directly to your life. It is not our goal to threaten anyone with the word of God, but our desire is that we all are challenged by it’s teachings in a way that leads us to be transformed. What about children?

We value our children at BWC. We want them to be safe and have a great time while they are here. We also want you and the others in our church service to be able to get everything out of it that you can get. That’s why we offer a nursery for infants from 0-2, classes for 2-3 year olds and 4-5 year olds, and we also have a Kid’s Church experience for elementary age kids. Your kids can expect to experience age appropriate teaching that helps them soak in God’s story and His love for them. They will be able to discover their identity in Christ, realize their belonging to His church and begin to uncover the role they play in God’s mission. We ask you to take your kids to their locations before you come into the adult worship experience.

We have a check-in system where you will check your child in and receive name tags and pick up tags to make sure when your child is picked up after the service, only those who have those tags will be able to pick up your kid. This helps us ensure a safe environment for our children. You will be able to pick up your child after the service in the Education Building where the Kid’s Church and classes are located. An usher will be glad to show you how to find those rooms.

What about students?

We believe it is important for students in sixth grade and up to be in the service on Sunday mornings with the adults. For more information on meeting times for our youth and the ministries that are offered specifically for them, please check our youth page.
