Welcome to our hometown
If you’re new to Kershaw County we want to say welcome! We’re glad that you’ve chosen to make our hometown your hometown. We know that moving to a new area can be tough when you don’t know exactly what there is to do and where the best places are to eat, so we wanted to help you with that. Below are some ideas that our family here wanted to share with your family. We hope these help!

Want some farm fresh meat or produce? Head over to Camden’s Ole Timey Meat Market and the Farmers Market.
there are some great nearby places
Northeast Columbia has a great selection of restaurants, shopping and entertainment, including The Village at Sandhills.
The states capital is 30-45 minutes away depending on where you go and it’s “famously hot.” See everything Columbia has to offer.
Neptune Island Water Park in Hartsville, about 45 minutes from us, may be a fun spot for you and the kids.
Right on the border of SC & NC just a little over an hour away is Carowinds.
The “Queen City,” Charlotte, NC, is about 1 hr and half up the road.
You’re only about 2 1/2 hours from the coast and two great options are Myrtle Beach and Charleston.
