Jesus gives us more than a quick fix in the middle of our difficult circumstances; He gives us His peace.
Our call in the middle of whatever we face is to trust and obey.
Too often we try to find our peace in places, persons and possessions, when our peace is ultimately found in Christ and the gift of His Holy Spirit that He gave us.
As we operate in the public square as followers of Christ we must show public grace. People need to see the irresistible grace of God living in us.
We need a supernatural demonstration of love and power in God's people. We need to pray for an activation of the Holy Spirit's gifts and His fruit in our lives.
Reflect or meet with someone to discuss:
What has attempted to rob you of your peace lately? Has it been successful?
What can you do to experience the peace of Jesus more in your life?
Do you believe the Holy Spirit has used you in someone else's life before?
What things in your life could be keeping you from being aware that the Holy Spirit wants to work through you?
