  • Easter is not a fairytale that starts once upon a time. Easter is a historical account shared from eyewitnesses of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.

  • Christmas reminds us of Immanuel, God is with us. Easter shows us that God is for us and directly after He becomes God in us when He sends the Holy Spirit.

  • Jesus' example is one we should follow - die to self so that we can live for Christ.

  • When Jesus returned to His disciples after His resurrection, He didn't remind them of their frailty and failure. He spoke peace to them. He does the same for us today.

  • The resurrection of Jesus is proof of the transforming power of God.

Reflect or meet with someone to discuss:

  • Has Easter just become another holiday to you or do you truly sit down to reflect on what Easter represents?

  • How hard is it for you to die to your selfish nature?

  • How has Christ transformed your life? How do you wish Christ would transform your life?
