• We can’t just see Jesus as a life coach. We have to surrender to his authority because he is Lord.

• My confidence in life is not in my ability to figure out God’s will and God’s way, but in his willingness to lead me in it.

• God demonstrated his love for us in this - while we were still sinners Christ died for us.

• Nothing can separate us from the presence of God, from the love of God, from the comfort of God, from the provision of God, from the hand of God - our good shepherd.

• Even in the shadow of the darkest moments of our life, we are not out of the mind of our Heavenly Father,

• The reason we fear no evil is not because there’s not evil to fear, it’s because he is with us and perfect love drives out fear.

• He gives me the strength to overcome that which wants to pull me off his path of righteousness.

• God doesn’t just want to give you enough joy to make it through, he wants to give you so much it overflows.

• There’s no where you can go that his goodness and mercy isn’t there. He’s creating beauty and blessing in the face of our misery and mess.

• Our joy and peace is found in the presence of the good shepherd. It’s not found in the changing of your circumstances. It’s found in the surrendering of control to the good shepherd.

• It’s not what we do, it’s what He’s done. We have the opportunity to dwell in the house of the Lord forever because his goodness and his mercy have followed us and made the way.
