Not everybody has the same call. Not everybody has the same role. But everybody does have a part to play in the peace and prosperity of wherever God has placed you to live.
Go in to wherever God has placed you and stand out doing everything you can to love the city, working towards the fruitfulness of it.
Human reasoning apart from the Spirit of God and the word of God is not helpful and will let us down.
God has called you to where you are to leverage what you have for others and bring Him glory.
We must re-center our life on Christ to move out of fear of a false authority and control, to the one who is truly in control.
The more you pray, the more you worship, then the more you open the door for God’s Spirit to work supernaturally through you. The more we pray together as the church, the more we worship together as the church, then the more we open the door for God’s Spirit to work supernaturally through the church.
God works through prayer and He works through the power of His Spirit.
God’s power can be more than admired, it can be experienced.
Our faith is meant to be public.
You can only be discovered as the true nugget of gold you are when you discover yourself in the rock that is Christ.
Reflect or meet with someone to discuss:
Have you ever fallen for a counterfeit or knockoff product before? What happened?
How do you see the world around you tempting you by trying to counterfeit what God wants to give you?
In what ways do you or can you work for the peace and prosperity of your city?
In what ways do you or can you step into the chaos of the world around you to leverage the gifts that God has given you for His glory?
