Scriptures used: Luke 17:11-19; Isaiah 55:8-9; Romans 15:13
We choose to be in the best place because it is impossible to live right when we're in the wrong place, and the best place is wherever we can be that’s close to the presence of Jesus.
God sometimes works in our life through the extraordinary, and it is miraculous, and sometimes God will work in our life through the ordinary… and it's just as miraculous.
How can two people look at the same thing and see something completely different. It's a matter of perspective.
When we feel overwhelmed we should choose to view our situation through a Christ centered perspective.
Unsettled focus leads to unsettled faith. When I’m overwhelmed, my focus must remain on the one who has overcome.
Faith focused on a faithful God helps us stand in the face of overwhelming situations!
When we can surrender our unguarded hearts, our indifferent souls, and our troubled minds to a loving Savior, we’ll find a hope that sustains beyond our own strengths.
Having the best perspective may not change your circumstances, but it'll change what you see in your circumstances.
Many times our feeling of being overwhelmed is caused by nothing more than a priority problem.
When we place ourselves in the best place, with Jesus, view life through a Christ centered perspective, and have Christ centered priorities we'll be overwhelmed by His goodness, grace, power, mercy, and unconditional love instead of being overwhelmed by life situations.
