When we understand that it’s more Christlike to be helpful and hopeful than it is to be hurtful, we will more grace towards others.
Where there are people there is opportunity for conflict. But there’s also opportunity to reflect Christ.
Instead of being recognized and celebrated Jesus was crucified. But through his crucifixion and resurrection, He was glorified by the Heavenly Father, and that glory became our salvation.
The way Jesus treated us should impact how we treat others.
As we abide in Christ we are depending on and connecting to the glory of God, the presence of God, allowing Him to work in our life and learning to love others the way He’s called us to.
When you understand that the one who carries all the true glory, the one who's worthy of everything, considered you important enough, and loved you enough, to give his life for you, then you realize it's not about seeking glory for yourself, but instead to share His glory and His love with others.
The more you worship God the more you become humble, forgiving, loving and compassionate.
Reflect or meet with someone to discuss:
Would you define yourself as a people person? What do relationships in your life look like?
How would you describe your interactions with other people on a daily basis?
Does working well with others come naturally to you? What about loving others?
How have you seen yourself grow in this area the more you grow in Christ? What steps can you take to get even better?
