Her Story

In this series we will take a look at four different stories from women in the Bible. We will see how each individual story is a part of the gospel story just like our stories. We'll hear a story of rescue, one of redemption, one of intercession and one of hospitality.

The first story we look at is Rahab’s story found in Joshua 2, and her story is one of rescue. We learn from Rahab that God doesn’t just want to bless you with his promises, his pardon and his prize, he wants to bless everyone connected to you by his purposes working through you.

This week we look at the story of Ruth and her story is a story of redemption. Her story demonstrates life going from ruin to restoration through the resilient pursuit of a redeemer.

Hospitality is not a characteristic reserved for five star establishments, high quality customer service, and certain areas of the country. Hospitality is a God quality and it is a characteristic that should be evident in every follower of Christ. This week hear the story of Lydia, and her story is a story of hospitality. May we be challenged by her story to be a people who are always eager to practice hospitality.
