Summer Reading Series 2023

Maybe you've heard the term "deconstruction" before. We see people deconstructing christianity, church and their faith. Some choose to walk away because of doubt, the hypocrisy they see and the suffering they don't understand. Gleaning from Wade Bearden's book, To My Friend Who Left The Church, we will approach this topic in this year's Summer Reading series.

Trying to understand faith can be complicated especially when people who call themselves a part of the faith make it complicated. The enemy's goal is to always pull us away from God, but God can make us stronger even through our questions. God never stops loving us and we should never stop loving those who may be struggling in their faith.

Suffering is a part of this world and it can be hard to understand why. Even for believers in Christ, suffering exists because we in this world. God is is still good though, and through Christ we have a hope that's far greater than the pain we experience in this world.
