Jaars Mission Week

June 14-20

Unashamed Youth will be traveling to Waxhaw, NC for a week of service at Jaars, an organization that provides Bible translators and their workers with what they need most to get the job done. (Watch the video below for a brief explanation of what Jaars does.)

While at Jaars our group of young people could be painting, doing minor and simple repair work, yard work, creating materials to teach kids about Bible translation, and whatever other needs Jaars may have at the time in assisting Bible translators. They will also be able to experience first hand what travel in remote villages is like, and what the Bible translators have to do in order to get the Bible in the hands of anyone and everyone. 

There will be two informational meetings that parents and teens can choose from to learn more about the week:

March 18th at 7:30 (immediately following Midweek Refreshing)
March 22nd at 4:30 

Total cost for the trip will be $300. This will include lodging, food, a trip to Carowinds, and other activities during the week. More information will be posted as it becomes available. If you have any questions, please feel free to email Pastor Bunk at disciplelk923@gmail.com.
