  • From where do we allow thoughts to fill our mind? News media? Tradition? Self? God’s thoughts and truths can be found for us in Scripture.

  • The Bible is how an infinite God who is above our understanding accommodates Himself to us.

  • Our desire is not to revise the truth of God's word but to live the truth so that we can live in God’s love, freedom, and power.

  • The Bible is the story of a promise God made to a nation, that became a salvation and hope God gave to humanity in the person and deity of Jesus Christ.

  • The Word of God reveals the love of God and the truth of God because it reveals Jesus.

Reflect or meet with someone to discuss:

  • What has been your viewpoint of Scripture?

  • How open are you when you read God's word?

  • How has scripture challenged you and changed you?

Do you ever wish you had all the answers or think that you know better than God? This plan from Dr. Tony Evans shows that through Faith in God's word, you won't feel the need to know everything, because God does, and faith in Him means all the riches on Earth and the heavenlies are yours through Him.
