What will you do with this moment in history?
Our faith in all that God has done gives us roots. Our faith that finds God in the future will bear fruit.
We have to be de-centered from ourselves and centered around Christ.
For us as His church to rise up as the early church did we must be prepared in a world that is always moving.
We have to live our life with a fixed focus on Jesus and a willingness to follow the Spirit.
We don't move the Spirit, the Spirit moves us, and that may mean to places we don't necessarily want to go.
In religions truth is a statement. In Christianity truth is a person. In religions the law is the way. In Christianity Jesus is the way. God did not send us a principle, He sent us Jesus. We don’t mimic Jesus, Jesus imparts Himself in us. We don’t impersonate Jesus, He presents Himself in us.
Reflect or meet with someone to discuss:
What scares you about following the Holy Spirit?
Have you ever felt directed by God to do something that you didn't feel like you were equipped to do?
In what way do you believe God has gifted you to minister to others?
Where do you think you can start in taking advantage of the divine moments around you?
