Dream Again Part 6

Sharable notes for the June 27, 2021 message. You can post these notes on your social platform!

Scriptures used: 2 Samuel 23:13-15; Psalms 34:1-8, 12-19; Psalms 57:1-11; Psalms 124:1-7

  • To finish well we must divert our focus from the things of this world and the sin that entangles and focus on what's important. Focus on Jesus.

  • Finishing well means we learn from the past, we don't live in past. Don't allow the bad to keep you from going forward and don't allow the good to make you stay and miss what God has next.

  • Sometimes the places of waiting that we don't want to be in are the places we need to be.

  • We need to let our places of waiting create in us an even greater thirst for what God has.

  • Live your life with bravery but also with integrity, and finish well in what God has called you to do.

Reflect or meet with someone to discuss:

  • Do you allow your past mistakes to keep you from moving forward in what God wants you to do? Why do you think that is?

  • Do you allow your past and current successes to keep you from moving forward in what God wants for you? Why do you think that is?

  • How do you handle the places of waiting in your life? How can you let those places of waiting create places of thirst and longing?
