Dream Again Part 5

Sharable notes for the June 20, 2021 message. You can post these notes on your social platform!

Scriptures used: Luke 18:1-8; Galatians 6:9; James 1:12; 1 Corinthians 9:24; Philippians 4:13; Matthew 19:26; 2 Timothy 4:7; John 6:66-68; John 11:21-22; James 5:17; Deuteronomy 29:29

  • We must stay diligent and persistent in our pursuit to be like Jesus.

  • Our potential is tapped into by our persistent effort. We need to have persistent faith, hope, joy, and love.

  • When things don't go like we hoped, keep praying. God will change the outcome or change us.

  • We need to have a faith that doesn't put periods at the end of disappointments.

  • God is great not just because nothing is too big for him. God is great because nothing is too small for him.

Reflect or meet with someone to discuss:

  • How persistent of a person are you? How quick are you to give up on things?

  • Is there anything you've ever given up on that you regret?

  • What are you doing to make sure you not only start well but you finish well in life?

  • Looking back, what unanswered prayers were actually negatively answered prayers that now you are thankful God answered that way?

  • What is something you need to keep praying through in your life right now and trust God for His answer?
