Scriptures used: Hebrews 12:1-3; Matthew 6:22-23, 13:15; John 16:33; Hebrews 11:1,7-8,11, 22

  • Fixing your eyes on Jesus means we also look away from all else.

  • When we look at this world things can get really foggy and confusing. When we focus on Jesus as first in our life then everything finds its perfect place in Him.

  • What we see, look at, can guide how we think and act.

  • When Jesus transforms our life we see things differently. We have a new way of looking at life.

  • When we are focused on Jesus our perspective is different.

  • The goal isn't perfection, the goal is to keep our faith in the one who is perfect.

Reflect or meet with someone to discuss:

  • What typically distracts you from keeping your focus on Jesus and His word?

  • How can you keep yourself from those distractions?

  • What can you do to stay more focused on Jesus?
