  • “Romance is fueled by exclusivity not experience.” Andy Stanley

  • When you’re vulnerable your values are compromised.

  • God’s word keeps us full, and when we’re full we’re better at staying focused.

  • The more we grow with hunger in his word and serve with selflessness, both as a part of the body of Christ within community, the stronger we are to stand.

  • Dating is a road that leads to a destination and every mile you travel gets harder to take the exit ramp. If you don’t want to go to the destination, stay off the road.

  • Our standards for dating need to be high. Have a high standard for love, for why you date, and for who you date.

Reflect or meet with someone to discuss:

  • If you are single and dating, how would you describe your dating life?

  • How would you define your standards when it comes to love, the reason you date, and who you date? Do you believe your standards could be higher? Why do you answer the way you do?

  • If you are married, how important do you make dating in your marriage? What can you do to take steps to make dating more important?
