Scriptures referenced: Revelation 12:11; Acts 9:1-31
Jesus was real. His death on the cross was witnessed, but so was his resurrection, proving that he was more than just a good man and good teacher, he was the Son of God.
Jesus' resurrection started a movement that’s still going today.
We can so often look back over our life and see how God was writing our story. We can see the way he was drawing us in and getting our attention. Throughout our lives, God has been shaping us for his mission, waiting patiently on us to surrender to Him and to His will.
The more time spent with God in private, the more personal and public our faith becomes.
The more time we spend with God the more God works in and changes us. We are able to move from just being exposed to the gospel to being transformed by it.
The grace of God has been creating your story. He’s not giving you an autobiography to write, he’s giving you a testimony to share.
We are to herald the gospel of Christ. The goal of our stories, our testimony, the gospel we herald, is always to glorify God.
Reflect or meet with someone to discuss:
What arguments have you heard against the truth of Christ?
How does the witness of a resurrected Christ by people who gave their lives for Christ's gospel, birthing a movement that's still going today, strengthen the truth of the gospel?
If you've put your faith in Christ, how has coming to know him impacted your life? Who can you share your story about Christ with?
