Scriptures used: Luke 1:1-38; Mark 1:3; John 1:29; Hebrews 10:38

  • Jesus coming into our world changed everything. When we allow Jesus into our life, that decision changes everything.

  • God did not disqualify Zechariah for his moment of doubt, and he doesn't disqualify you either.

  • The Christmas season is a reminder to us to live with expectancy believing that with God all things are possible.

  • Question to ask yourself - Am I available for God to use me to build His church?

  • Growth in Jesus comes when we keep showing up. Growth in Jesus accelerates when trials come and we keep showing up. Hope comes alive within us when we keep showing up because Jesus is HOPE!

  • No matter what stage of life you are in, always live with hope that God is not done with you yet and that you can see our world transformed because of the hope of Jesus.

Reflect or meet with someone to discuss:

  • Does the Christmas season bring feelings of hope for you? Why or why not?

  • When do you feel hopeless the most?

  • How do you think continuing to show up can change your outlook and mindset? Are you willing to try?
