  • According to the Apostle Paul, certain things about God are self-evident. If we stop recognizing them, it’s because something has distorted our view.

  • Our belief problems are a result of our heart problems. Our hearts are bent on exalting ourselves rather than God which blinds us to obvious truths about God.

  • It’s usually the heart that guides the mind, not the mind guiding the heart, and that can be a problem.

  • The core problem in our world is that sin interrupted man’s relationship with God, all other problems since have stemmed from that one. God provided an answer and that answer is what the Christian faith is centered around, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

  • Our faith is anchored not in an explanation, but in an event. Christianity didn’t begin with people who just believed something, but with people who saw something.

Reflect or meet with someone to discuss:

  • In what ways do you struggle to have conversations with others about your faith?

  • What questions have you found the most difficult to answer?

  • How does Peter's words in 1 Peter 3 encourage you?

We all have doubts that challenge our faith. We wonder whether the Bible still matters, or whether God is truly as loving and personal as we hope. In The Logic of God, apologist Ravi Zacharias explains how and why Christianity, the Bible, and God are still relevant, vital, and life-changing for us today.
