Scriptures used: Luke 2:25-33; John 1:1-5; Hebrews 10:23; Romans 4:21; 1 John 2:25

  • In the midst of waiting, and the midst of darkness, we should never quit seeking our Savior.

  • In the middle of discouragement remember Jesus' promises - He went to prepare a place…He is the way…we can pray in His name…He has sent another Counselor, the Holy Spirit to teach and comfort…He will not leave us as orphans…In Him we can have peace…we can be courageous because Jesus has conquered.

  • Never miss an opportunity to tell others what Christ has done for you.

  • In moments of waiting, we have to continue to live in faithful obedience.

Reflect or meet with someone to discuss:

  • When have you felt discouraged and felt like God wasn't hearing your prayers?

  • How difficult is it to remain in faithful obedience when you feel like God isn't there? What can you do for encouragement?

  • What are the promises of Jesus that are your constant source of hope?

Being in a season of waiting  can feel overwhelming and purposeless. However, because of Gods love we can find bravery, courage and hope  in the midst of it all. You can discover that the wait has a divine purpose. When you lay it all down…

Being in a season of waiting  can feel overwhelming and purposeless. However, because of Gods love we can find bravery, courage and hope  in the midst of it all. You can discover that the wait has a divine purpose. When you lay it all down and surrender, you learn that you are braver than what you once thought you were.
