  • The problem with waiting is that we don't give ourselves anything meaningful to do in the waiting.
  • Jesus gave us a calling for the time between His first coming and His second. We have a mission during the waiting. A great commission.
  • “Waiting is our destiny as creatures who cannot bring about what they hope for; we wait in darkness for a flame we cannot light. We wait in fear for a happy ending that we cannot write. We wait for “not yet” that feels like “not ever.” Waiting is the hardest work of HOPE.” Lewis Smedes
  • We're willing to wait for what we deem worth the wait.
  • God's will is worth waiting for.
  • When you find yourself in the waiting, don't be afraid. Trust God.
  • Sometimes we have to change OUR plans to line up with GOD'S plans.
  • Christmas is a reminder of the hope of Jesus. "The thrill of hope the weary world rejoices for yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.”
