We may not all have the gift of an evangelist, but we all have the call to be witnesses to the good news of Jesus Christ, to operate in a ministry of reconciliation.
A person who understands the depths to which Jesus went to forgive our life and free us from the penalty of sin will respond to that forgiveness in a great way.
We may not all be forgiven for the same amount of sinful acts in our life, but we are all forgiven from the same punishment of sin.
A timid and fearful faith does not reach a lost and broken world.
Sometimes the way you witness can just be by doing normal life with gospel intentionality.
Use the words you have about the truth you know, and use your life to demonstrate the truth.
If the Holy Spirit is prompting you to share your faith, then he’s been preparing their heart to receive it.
Sometimes it takes a seven mile walk instead of a seven second talk before someone realizes the beauty of Jesus.
You have the ability through the Holy Spirit to share your faith. and the Holy Spirit gives you opportunities to do it.
Reflect or meet with someone to discuss:
What are some reasons you usually have for not witnessing?
In what ways do we need to possibly reimagine what being a witness in our personal life looks like?
How have you seen the Holy Spirit work through you where he has you, and through how you are wired to witness to others?
