  • When you pray, you are transferring the burdens you’re struggling to carry on to the God who can carry them. You’re inviting the heavenly Father to do for you what you can’t do.

  • We may never be certain of exactly what God will do and how God will answer our prayers, but because of Christ, we do know God is real, He’s listening and He’s good.

  • “The prayer of faith is a faith not in a particular outcome, but in the God of all outcomes.” Jen Wilkins

  • We believe he can. We trust His will.

Reflect or meet with someone to discuss:

  • When you hear the phrase, "pray about it," what kind of thoughts or emotions go through your mind?

  • Have you ever been made to feel like you didn't have enough faith when you prayed? How did that effect your prayer life?

  • How does it empower you to know as James said that the prophets, like Elijah, were ordinary people just like us?
