  • We are to give cheerfully, not begrudgingly or forced.

  • In our spiritual lives there can be no rival for our love for Jesus. All of the loves in our life find their perfect place of purpose and blessing when we seek Christ first.

  • We can lose our soul for money. We can lose our heart for the things of this world.

  • Don't give to keep bad things from happening, it won't work. Don't give just to get in return. This can happen, but it's a wrong motivation. Give because you trust that God is your provider.

  • Does my giving reveal that my treasure is in Jesus?

Reflect or meet with someone to discuss:

  • When yWhat has been your mindset on giving?

  • What would you say is the reason you give or don't give?

  • How can you challenge yourself to be a cheerful giver?
