Joy is a place of victory. Joy is not a result of lifes circumstances, it is the result of a transformed mind through Jesus Christ and the power of His Holy Spirit. Join us as we explore the words of Paul to the Phillipians to see exactly how we can live with joy even in a troubled world. 

August 27, 2017 - WEEK 2

Ever heard of Pyrite – called fool’s gold? It looks like gold but in the end it does not have the value of gold. Many people in their pursuit of the emotion of happiness have fallen for fool’s gold they thought had the value of joy, but in reality, it did not. 

We also had a special guest with us on this day who shared about a ministry in our community called the Jackson Teen Center which we are blessed to be a part of. 

September 3, 2017 - WEEK 3

Joy is an outward sign of inward faith in the promises of God. So when the world, our world, is in chaos, we can still have joy.

September 10, 2017 - WEEK 4

Paul's instructions in his letter to the Phillipians that teach us what to think on, produce a fruit of the spirit that helps us in spite of our lack of understanding.
