• We are saved to do good works. We are given leaders to prepare us. We are given God’s Word to equip us. We have the church to encourage us. We are given gifts to empower us.

• Ability doesn't matter if we never have the availability to serve.

• In serving others, we serve Christ.
  In serving others, we grow in our relationship with Christ.
  In serving others, we remember how Christ has served us.
  In serving others, we remember that it’s not about us, but about Christ.

• We serve to show the world around us the God who is in us.

• You have a gift to give. You are more fulfilled in Christ, when you understand that a life transformed by Christ is a life that serves for Christ and helps bring transformation.

Reflect or meet with someone to discuss:

• What joy do you get from serving in the church?

• If you haven't found a way to serve, what keeps you from doing so?

• Are there ways that you could serve that you aren't now?
