There is always some form of competition for our hearts.
Jesus wants us to think about where we put our attention, what we focus on, and what we are pursuing because the condition of our heart is at stake.
If we’re worrying too much about something, God may not be mastering our life, because we’ll never be mastered by our concerns if God is our master.
God’s created within you what you need and God will provide what you need when you need it.
Do we live like we believe God knows what we need?
Prioritize your relationship with God, because when God is your master, you won’t be mastered by your concerns.
Reflect or meet with someone to discuss:
What kind of things do you find yourself worrying about?
Does your worry reveal anything to you about something else that could be battling for first place in your life?
How would you say you are at at keeping God, and His desires, first in your life?
Are there any changes you could make that could help you keep God first?
