Jesus’ peace is altogether different and has nothing to do with circumstances. Jesus’ peace exist in the middle of whatever circumstance we face.
Sure you experience sadness and the other motions that come from life, but the hope you have from the prince of peace allows you not to live in those emotions.
Jesus's peace is a peace that brings rightness, wholeness and completeness in our relationship with God and with others.
The Son of God has become the Prince of Peace so that we can become children of God and peacemakers.
Reflect or meet with someone to discuss:
What kind of things do you find coming against your peace?
How do you typically try to obtain peace in your life?
Would you consider yourself a peacekeeper, a peacebreaker, or a peacemaker? What could you do to make sure you stay along the lines of a peacemaker?
