Scriptures used: John 15:4-5; Colossians 2:1; Hebrews 10:24-25; 1 Thessalonians 5:11; 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

  • Our faith and knowledge of God grows when we are committed and connected to His body, the church.

  • We only work well together when we are connected together.

  • We avoid loneliness when we remain connected to one another.

  • In a cancel culture that seeks to destroy people, the church has to be a place where we believe the gospel of Jesus can change people.

  • Jesus told us how to stay connected to Him and that was to seek Him and the will of His kingdom first in our life.

Reflect or meet with someone to discuss:

  • On a scale of 1-5 how connected would you say you are to Christ?

  • On a scale of 1-5 how connected would you say you are to the church?

  • How do you think disconnect begins in our life when it comes to Christ and His church?

  • What steps can you take now to become better connected?
